Welcome to Eden & Ashes
I’m Nancy, a widowed mother learning to raise joy in the middle of sorrow, and to hold grace where life once broke me.
I became a widow at 29, which is considered young in every sense of the word except maybe for your back and your patience. Two years earlier, I lost my mum. A year after my husband passed, I lost my youngest brother.
Grief came in waves, but so did God’s grace, and that’s what I write about here.
This space is part reflection, part healing, and part testimony.
You’ll find stories of loss, love, faith, motherhood and small adventures with my daughter in honour of life that’s still worth celebrating.
I don’t have all the answers.
But I write to remember.
To share.
To hold space for anyone walking through ashes, trying to bloom anyway.
If that’s you, this space is for you too.
With love always,
Nancy Fa’i
Living proof that broken ground can still bloom.
